In San Francisco legal news, According to reports murder charges and attempted murder charges have been brought by the San Francisco Prosecutors Office for a double shooting in Bernal Heights against alleged suspect Max Reyes.

The police have stated that the shooting occurred in the unit block of Fair Avenue in the vicinity of Mission Street at approximately 8:20 p.m. The shooting took place inside the home of John Rogers age 36 who was killed during the incident and another person present during the shooting that was wounded and later transported to the hospital. Police have stated this person who remains unidentified is expected to fully recover.
In a statement from the police they believe that their were two people present during the time of the shooting along with Rogers and the unidentified person who was shot. Twenty four year old Max Reyes has been arrested and charged by prosecutors with murder, attempted murder, burglary, robbery and assault with a firearm. According to the District Attorney’s Office has stated Reyes has also been charged with possession of marijuana for sale. Reyes is expected to be arraigned shortly on the charges in the San Francisco Superior court according to the prosecutors office.
